Things to Remember About Instructional Coaches
- Lucky for me...I do NOT evaluate you. My job is to support you, give you feedback, and help you grow as a professional.
- I'm in the job because I love the teaching profession and believe it's worth all the headaches of struggling students, not enough time, and more. I would love to be involved in your classrooms, helping you to do what you need to do to be the most effective educator. I enjoy every minute of "kid time" I can get!
- I don't have all the answers. Unfortunately, know that I'm not an "expert" at everything. :) But, I love to learn. The best thing about this job is I do have some time to dig into resources. If you are wondering about something, let me look at it, research it, or help you!
- I know what you are going through. I understand the daily struggle of teaching. I was there and I see it in each of you every day. Teachers are truly amazing and you inspire me to want to continue grow as a professional educator, which is what we all are.
